The selected contractor will provide professional mowing and landscape maintenance services at specified South Marion County properties. Services include routine mowing, trimming, and edging of all grass lawn areas to maintain a neat and clean appearance, edging along paved areas as needed, at least twice-monthly mowing from March to October, and additional mowing as required for neatness based on conditions. The contractor must avoid scalping lawns, damaging irrigation systems, and causing damage to property. Maintenance of bushes, shrubs, plants, and low tree growth to a groomed condition is required, ensuring 12 to 18 inches of clearance from buildings and walks when practicable. Routine work does not include major pruning, large bush or tree removal unless separately authorized. The contractor must promptly notify of dead, hazardous, diseased, or overgrown trees or shrubs needing non-routine work. All qualified, licensed, bonded, and insured contractors are invited to submit electronic quotations. Quotations must be submitted electronically or by email by the stated deadline. Vendors are responsible for monitoring the posting for addenda and updates. Late, incomplete, or non-responsive submissions may be rejected. All communications regarding the proposal must go through the designated agency contact. Vendors shall not contact board members, staff, or residents unless specifically authorized in writing.
