Sealed bids are invited for the construction of 0.080 miles of box bridge and approaches on Anthony Road, known as Local System Bridge Program (LSBP) Project No. LSBP-54(34) in Panola County, Mississippi. Principal items of work include mobilization, clearing and grubbing, removal of obstructions, removal of steel sub & timber deck bridge, removal of pipe, various types of excavation, placement of crushed stone, installation of reinforced concrete pipe, right-of-way markers, maintenance of traffic, erosion control items such as commercial fertilizer, seeding, mulch, excelsior blanket, temporary silt fence, wattles, loose riprap, geotextile under riprap, bridge items such as box bridge concrete and reinforcement, and temporary stream diversion. The award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder based on published quantities. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, payable to Panola County and the State of Mississippi. Any proposal with qualifying letters will be considered irregular and not eligible for award.
