The project involves the construction of a concrete multi-use trail, adjustment of sanitary sewer manholes and storm drain inlet, installation of reinforced concrete pipe and flared end sections, installation of fencing, excavation and grading to accomplish these improvements, final site stabilization, and other miscellaneous tasks. The work will generally begin at the northern end of the existing trail near the McKissic Creek bridge and end near the southwest corner of the intersection of Allen Road and Town Vue Road. A smaller side trail will be constructed from the existing trail in McKissic Creek Park westward to a connection at the intersection of Kate Drive and McKissic Spring Road. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument equivalent to five percent of the bid amount. It is the responsibility of the downloader to ensure receipt of a complete set of bid documents as defined in the instructions to bidders. Bid documents are available for a fee.
