Site work for a civil project in Mathis, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The project consists of installing a force main, gravity line with services, waterline with services, proposed lift station, manhole rehabilitation and proposed drop connection, and bore and steel casing in accordance with the contract documents, technical specifications, and plans. Bids must be addressed as specified and will be publicly opened and read aloud at the designated time and location. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held. Bid/Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications, are available for review at the specified address, and copies can be obtained for a non-refundable fee. Electronic copies can be provided at no cost. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety must be submitted with each bid for contracts exceeding $100,000, or alternatives as listed. The minimum rates for compensation of personnel must comply with the U.S. Department of Labor and State minimum wage rates. The right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities is reserved. Bids may be held for up to 90 days for review and investigation of the bidder’s qualifications prior to contract award.
