Atlanta, Georgia 30332 e-mail: RSibblies3@gatech.edu This project will implement selective renewal of the Col. Frank F. Groseclose building, a 54,585 GSF academic facility built in 1983. The recently vacated building (containing office, classroom, meeting, and study spaces) was formerly the home of the Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) program. The project is enabled by the relocation of ISyE to the new Tech Square Phase III. Groseclose has had several minor renovations between 1996 and 2001 but no comprehensive renewal in the 42 years since its construction. The project scope will address deferred maintenance, renew outdated and inefficient building systems (primarily HVAC/mechanical and fire protection), provide universal upgrades for accessibility and code compliance (including elevators), abate hazardous materials, and renew the building envelope. Programmatic changes will also be addressed as there is a growing need for Instructional Space across Campus.
