Sealed bids are requested for the Beeville Loop Road Rabbit Creek Culvert Replacement (Materials Only). The firm price is required for the culvert as described in the bid specifications and special provisions. No additional charges, including freight or fuel surcharges, will be accepted. Delivery of materials is required by 9am on the specified deadline at Mason County Public Works. Bidders must submit all Type 2E Working Drawings & Submittals at bid opening per WSDOT Standard Specification Section 1-05.3. Payment for materials will be made according to State Statute, following delivery and submission of a properly detailed invoice. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit of five percent (5%) of the bid amount in the form of Surety Bond, Cash, Cashiers Check, or Certified Check, on the required DOT Form for Local Agency Use. Bids must be in writing, on forms furnished by Builders Exchange of Washington, include the necessary disclaimer in the margin, and be placed in a sealed 12 x 9 envelope with the project name and bid opening date indicated. Proposals not conforming to these requirements may be rejected. The Board of Mason County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject bids individually or as a whole, to waive informalities, and to contract as deemed in the best interest of Mason County. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin.
