Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Parkville, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.
The work includes the Southern Platte Pass Trail Resurfacing Project, consisting of a mill and asphalt overlay of the Southern Platte Pass Trail generally located along HWY 45 from Brink-Myer Road to I-29. The project also includes a small parking lot mill and overlay project at the Platte County South Community Center. Sealed bids will be received from qualified bidders for the 2026 Southern Platte Pass Trail Maintenance. Bidders are instructed to submit two original and signed copies of their bid, including an optional pavement reconstruction bid alternate if desired. Bids received after the designated closing time will be returned unopened. Bid results will be posted online. Vendors can register and obtain access to bid documents at the County’s website. Additional details such as period of performance, liquidated damages, and compliance with contract provisions are specified in the Project Manual. Platte County, as a tax-exempt entity, will furnish a Missouri Project Exemption Certificate to the awarded contractor for applicable materials. If amendments are necessary, a formal written addendum will be posted through the County’s electronic procurement system.
