The project consists of approval of a contract amendment with Alliant Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $284,328 for professional design services and preparation of bidding documents for Phase II of the reconstruction of 50th Avenue NW, extending from the southern terminus of Phase I near Hathaway Tree Service to 19th Street NW. Phase II is included in the City's 2026-2031 Capital Improvement Plan and is scheduled for construction in 2027. The work will include complete roadway reconstruction with facilities for pedestrians, bicycles, rolling users, and transit, and will support access to the Prairie Ridge residential development and future urban expansion within the West Zumbro Sewershed.
