Demolition, site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a transportation facility in Erie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the expansion of a runway / taxiway.
The project consists of the extension of Taxiway A and realignment of Taxiways D/G/F, including pavement demolition, excavation, storm sewer installation, subbase and base course, asphalt paving, and airfield electrical. This project includes the first phase to realign Taxiway D between Taxiway C and Runway 2-20 by constructing Taxiway A5 and demolishing a portion of the existing Taxiway D located in this project area. This includes all sawcutting, pavement removal, base course, pavement, topsoil grading, seeding and mulching, pavement marking, taxiway edge lighting, and taxiway guidance sign modifications required for both demolition and construction associated with this project. The envelope shall also be marked with the following: Erie International Airport, Extend Taxiway A, Realign Taxiways D/G/F - Bid Package 1, Erie International Airport, Erie, PA.
