Site work and paving for a road / highway in Brownsville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are requested for the following work: 1) Placement of a single application of asphalt seal coat on 59,585 square yards as per Penndot 408 Section 470 using CRS-2P Oil and No. 8 Stone with 1.0% wash. 2) Application of an asphalt fog seal for asphalt seal coats on 59,585 square yards as per Penndot 408 Section 472. Instructions to bidders: Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the municipality. Bids for third class cities must include a certified check or bid bond amounting to 10% of the bid, payable to the municipality; for other municipal types, requirements are at the municipality's discretion. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond or certified check equal to 100% of the contract within 20 days of award. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Liquidated damages are set at $870.00 per calendar day.
