Site work and paving for a civil project in Vanport, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes approximately 1,900 square yards of roadway milling and profiling, Superpave WMA binder course and wearing course, base repair, traffic control, crack sealing and all necessary appurtenances for said construction on Georgetown Lane. DIVISION LANE STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS PHASE II The scope of work includes approximately 470 linear feet of new 15" storm sewer, 6 new inlets, roadway restoration, traffic control, four alternates for additional paving, and all necessary appurtenances for said construction along Division Lane. The project is being funded in part by a grant from the Commonwealth Financing Authority Local Share Account. Bidder must agree to comply with all requirements associated with the loan/grant. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Township of Vanport. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township of Vanport to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. The Township of Vanport reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. The Township of Vanport shall (a) award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, or (b) reject all bids received within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided, however, that the Township of Vanport may, in its sole discretion, delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the Township of Vanport has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies.
