Sealed bids, in triplicate, are requested for the East Grand Rapids Public Schools BP-7B High School Renovations and Additions. Bids will only be accepted for the following categories: BC-13 General Trades, BC-14 Millwork, BC-15 Metal Wall Panels, BC-18 Doors, Frames, and Hardware, BC-37 Mechanical/Plumbing, BC-39 Electrical, and BC-44 ERRCS. All other categories are closed. Bids must be received at the specified address by the indicated deadlines and will be opened and read aloud at a designated time and location, both online and in person. Mailed bids must arrive before the deadline; faxed, emailed, or electronically uploaded bids will not be accepted. Each bid must include a sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Statement. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site inspection will be conducted at the specified location and time. Bid documents are available for review at the listed locations. Bidders must be reputable organizations with at least five years of experience on work of this type and scope, possess required licenses, and have ample financial resources. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security or a bid bond of at least 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder must provide Performance, Labor, and Material bonds for all contracts exceeding $50,000 from a surety company with a rating of A- or better, for the full contract amount.
