Site work for a fire / police facility in Great Falls, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.

Separate sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Cascade County – Sheriff’s Office Grease Interceptor Project. The work consists of installing a new 2,500-gallon grease interceptor, influent piping, effluent piping, and all necessary surface restoration. Bidders must have the required qualifications to participate. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to Cascade County for at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. Successful bidders must provide an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, as well as the required insurance and certificates. To be considered responsive, bids must include complete and properly executed "Affidavit of Non-Collusion," "Certification of Nonsegregated Facilities," and "Contractor Verification of Nondiscrimination Firearm Entities/Trade Associations" forms. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry and pay wages as required by Montana law. All applicable equal employment laws apply. Cascade County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, to postpone the contract award for up to sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the County’s best interest. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled bid opening. WORK COVERED BY THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The work consists of the construction of certain improvements and is shown on the Civil Site Plan. The scope of work generally includes the furnishing and installation of a grease interceptor exterior to the building, a new sewer outfall line from the mechanical room to the interceptor, a discharge line from the interceptor back into the mechanical room and connecting to existing plumbing on the discharge end of the existing interceptor, restoration of concrete surfacing, restoration of AC surfacing, and other miscellaneous restoration. Work also includes all necessary coordination with onsite personnel, utility companies, Owner, and Engineer. B. Specific work items under the project are as follows: 1. Before any other fieldwork on this project, Contractor shall be responsible to perform any required exploratory excavation associated with the project and report these findings to the Owner and Engineer. 2. Furnish/install grease interceptor as specified and as detailed on the plans, including vent line, including all excavation, bedding, backfill, and compaction. 3. Sawcut, removal & disposal of all asphalt surfacing and concrete surfacing, including curb & gutter, as needed for grease interceptor and sewer line installation. 4. All excavation both interior and exterior to the building, pipe bedding,installation of piping, vent line, fittings and cleanouts, connections to existing piping, and connections to the grease interceptor, backfill, and compaction. 5. Resurfacing of all impacted concrete surfacing (both interior and exterior to the building), curb & gutter, splash block/channel, asphaltic paving, and landscaping/irrigation restoration, as applicable.
