Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Great Falls, Montana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Sealed bids are requested for the construction of the Cascade County Annex Re-Roof at 325 2nd Ave N, Great Falls, MT. Scope of work includes demolition of the existing roof membrane and recovery board, installation of new high-density board and fully adhered EPDM membrane, repairs to drains, addition of sloped insulation for proper drainage, and removal and framing over of some old rooftop penetrations and curbs prior to new roof installation. Mandatory attendance at the pre-bid conference is required for all interested contractors; those not present will not be allowed to bid. Bids must include a separate unbound copy of the Bid Form and Bid Bond. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bid Bond for at least 10% of the total bid. Successful bidders will be required to provide approved Performance and Labor & Materials Payment Bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount, and proof of insurance. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry prior to executing the Construction Agreement. The contractor must also ensure non-discrimination in employment. Bids must be submitted in hard copy only and received by the specified deadline, after which late bids will be returned unopened. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, and accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the best interest of the owner.
