Renovation of an educational facility in Great Falls, Montana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are invited for a single General Contract that includes all General and Electrical Work for the Valley View Elementary School Fire Alarm Upgrade. The Contractor must comply with all Fair Labor Practices and requirements of the State of Montana. All contractors and subcontractors must have a Certificate of Registration from the State of Montana, Department of Labor and Industry, Employment Relations Division. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check for 10% of the total bid. The successful bidder is required to provide an approved Performance Bond and a Labor Material Payment bond, each equal to 100% of the Contract, upon signing. The costs of such bonds must be included in the bid. Contractors must also furnish Lien Waivers as requested prior to final payment. Bids must not be withdrawn for at least 60 days after submission, except as noted in the instructions. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to award the contract to the bid considered best suited to the needs of the Facility and/or in the Owner’s best interests, and to waive or determine irregularities or informalities, including contacting bidders for clarification or additional information.
