Site work for a water / sewer project in Great Falls, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Separate sealed bids are requested for the construction of a project consisting of the rehabilitation and improvements associated with lead water service lines. The work includes removal of any lead-containing materials, replacement of the water service line with Municipex or copper (based on property owner's preference) from the water main to the water meter depending on existing conditions, and site restoration. The Owner has the right to select or deny any of the designated alternates. Bidders must comply with requirements regarding registration with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry, wage rates, employment discrimination, and funding agency requirements. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid. Successful bidders must furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each for one hundred percent of the contract amount, as well as required insurance certificates. All contractors and subcontractors must be licensed to perform work in the City.
