Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fresno, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

This is a Sources Sought Announcement issued for market research purposes only to identify contractors capable of providing fire door repair services for the VA Central California Health Care System. The requirement is for qualified contractors to perform inspection, repair, adjustment, and restoration of fire-rated doors and related components in accordance with the attached draft Statement of Work and applicable NFPA standards. Services are expected to ensure fire doors function as designed and remain compliant with life safety and fire protection requirements. Contractors must demonstrate the technical capability, certifications, staffing, and scheduling approach necessary to perform all required fire door repair services, including compliance with limitations on subcontracting for service acquisitions. Information submitted in response will be used solely by the Department of Veterans Affairs to support acquisition planning and determine an appropriate procurement strategy, and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment by the Government. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
