The work includes renovating a small portion of the existing girl's locker room, specifically vacating approximately two-thirds of the shower area currently used as storage and converting it into an additional team room. The remaining shower area will be renovated, with approximately five shower stalls retained for use for both the girl's and boy's locker rooms. This involves a complete gut of the area, impacting plumbing, electric, mechanical, and finishes in that area only. The alternate work includes renovation of both the existing boy's and girl's locker rooms, removal of all existing lockers, selective replacement with new lockers and benches, and complete removal and replacement of flooring with new epoxy flooring. The contract documents define the full project scope. Bids must be for a lump sum price for the entire project, all trades included. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in specific categories. If bidders are not classified for certain work, they must retain a classified subcontractor, though these subcontractors are not to be named in the bid. No modifications to the instructions, conditions, or specifications will be permitted except as outlined in the bid documents and accepted addenda. Bids proposing modifications will be rejected as non-responsive. Questions must be received by the Architect by Thursday, May 21, 2026, not later than three (3) business days prior to the deadline for last issuance of addenda.
