Site work and paving for a road / highway in Somerville, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
This project generally includes but is not limited to 15 separate locations within Somerset County. This work consists of 177 curb ramps, 13 signalized intersection upgrades, 41,000 tons of HMA pavement, and 350,000 linear feet of thermoplastic traffic stripes. Bids shall be delivered in sealed envelopes and addressed to the Purchasing Agent, County Administration Building, Purchasing – 3rd Floor, 20 Grove Street, Somerville, New Jersey 08876, clearly marked on the outside with the contract name and number, bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside. Pre-qualification requirements: Each bidder on a construction contract valued at more than $5,000,000 shall be prequalified by the New Jersey Department of Transportation. The following prequalification class codes are eligible to bid this project: 3-Grading & Paving, 3A-Grading & Bituminous Paving, 5-Heavy Highway, or 25-Milling. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
