The work includes, but is not limited to, the following major items: fabrication of various precast concrete interpretive signs; construction of reinforced concrete sign foundations at various locations; and installation of precast concrete interpretive signs at various locations. Bids must be delivered in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the contract name and number, and bearing the name and address of the bidder. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, not to exceed $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to Somerset County Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for the full amount of the bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in New Jersey. The Surety must agree to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of the successful bidder's contract. All bid addenda will be issued on the county website, and it is the sole responsibility of the respondent to be knowledgeable of all addenda.
