Site work and paving for a road / highway in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Services required under this Contract shall consist of Preliminary Design of Riverbank and Roadway Works along Rover Avenue, including the reconstruction of existing asphalt pavement, geotechnical improvements, and slope stabilization. Services must follow the City’s Project Management Manual and templates. Consultants engaged are expected to bring any inconsistencies with good industry practice to the Consulting Contract Administrator's attention. Preliminary design must be delivered within the total available project funding. Proponents are responsible for identifying which improvements can be completed within the budget. Applicable standards and policies include the City of Winnipeg Green Building Policy, Universal Design Policy, Transportation Association of Canada geometric standards, Transportation Master Plans, tree planting and removal guidelines, Standard Construction Specifications, pedestrian and cycling strategies, best practices in infrastructure design, zoning by-law, and The Accessibility for Manitobans Act. The funds available for this Contract are $350,000, including the evaluated fee and all disbursements as described in B8.
