Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a residential development in Bay City, Michigan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.

The City of Bay City is soliciting sealed proposals for the demolition and asbestos removal of residential structures. Quotes must be received in the Purchasing Department prior to 3:00 p.m. on the due date. All questions should be directed to purchasinq@bavcitvmi.gov The City of Bay City is requesting quotes from qualified firms for demolition and asbestos removal services of residential structures. Property List 216 Parker Street, 997 sq. ft., 1.75 Story, Wood Frame, crawl space - remove the house and any shed, garage, or outbuildings. Removal to include all footings, foundations, as well as sidewalks (not city main sidewalk), fences, and concrete floors (garage and basement). The property must be filled with clean Class II backfill, compaction to a 95% density and seeded after grading the property to a height not less than the average height of the city sidewalk. 1611 S. Jackson Street, Approx 30'x50' pool area with a large amount of water and foliage - remove the pool, the concrete deck around the pool and all the fence surrounding the pool as well as the part of fence that runs north and south connecting to the neighbor's fence to the south. Removal to include all parts of the structure of the pool framing and liner as well as all concrete surrounding the pool to the point where the driveway begins. There is a large magnolia tree that slightly overhangs the pool area. If trimming is necessary, the least amount of trimming necessary to complete the work is required. The property must be backfilled with clean Class II backfill, compaction to a 95% density and seeded after grading the property to a height not less than the average height of the city sidewalk.
