Renovation of a mixed-use development in Las Vegas, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
Provide and install a new theater audio and lighting control system upgrade at the existing theater. Work includes abandoning existing unused speaker cabling, installing new main theater speakers, subwoofer, monitor speakers, audio amplifiers, stage input/output panels, and new audio/data cabling connected to the existing control booth equipment rack and owner-furnished mixing console. Project also includes upgrades to the theatrical lighting control infrastructure including new DMX/data wall plates, Ethernet-to-DMX gateways, lighting network cabling, and replacement of existing dimmer modules with non-dim bypass modules for LED theatrical fixtures. Contractor shall remove non-essential rack equipment, provide rack cleanup and patch panels, test and commission all systems, verify operation of existing theater systems, and provide owner training for audio and lighting controls. Pre-qualification requirements: Prequalified Bidders shall have a Nevada Contractor's License with the Classification of: C2. Contractors Pre-Qualified pursuant NRS 338.1379 intending to bid this project must attend the mandatory pre-bid conference and must provide their most current letter of pre-qualification issued by the Clark County School District and all information listed in Part 5 of Document 00 21 13 – Instructions to Bidders.
