The Goat Hill East project is a neighborhood roadway and pedestrian connectivity improvement initiative located northeast of Federal Boulevard and 64th Avenue in Adams County, Colorado. Identified in the 2016 Making Connections Plan, the project focuses on reconstructing existing residential streets to improve safety, accessibility, and drainage. Planned improvements include new paving, curb and gutter, sidewalks on both sides of the street, ADA-compliant curb ramps at intersections, on-street parking where feasible, traffic calming measures such as curb extensions and roadway narrowing, and upgrades to storm drainage infrastructure. The selected design is based on extensive traffic studies, public engagement, and evaluation of multiple roadway alternatives.
