The West 70th Avenue and Zuni Street Corridor Improvement Project proposes partial reconstruction and widening of West 70th Avenue and Zuni Street between Federal Boulevard and West 68th Avenue in Adams County, Colorado. The project is designed to support a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) corridor and accommodate future growth through multimodal improvements, including one travel lane in each direction, raised medians with select left-turn lanes, new on-street bike lanes, sidewalks, curb and gutter, upgraded drainage infrastructure, enhanced crosswalks with pedestrian-activated flashing beacons, and new street lighting. The improvements are intended to increase safety, improve pedestrian and bicycle accessibility, address flooding issues, and enhance connectivity to nearby transit stations, schools, parks, and community destinations.
