Park Ridge High School, 2 Park Avenue, Park Ridge, NJ 07656. 1. The abatement will be a non-occupied abatement for the proscenium wall. The wrap and cut pipe removal will be done in an occupied building. 2. Install and remove protection enclosures as per the contract documents and as required to perform the abatement. 3. The existing proscenium wall shall be abated in its entirety. 4. Wrap and cut heating piping as indicated in the contract documents The scope of work for lead abatement safe work practices includes the management of lead and or lead based painted surfaces and/or components known or presumed to contain lead in concentrations equal to or in excess of 1.0 milligrams/per square centimeter or 0.5% by weight during renovation activities in target housing and child occupied facilities as detailed within United States Environmental Protection Agency standard for Residential Property Renovation, cited as 40 CFR Part 745, Subpart E Estimated budget: $50,000 to $100,000 All technical questions, comments, and inquiries should be directed to LAN (Attention: Mr. Christopher S. The last day for submission of questions shall be on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. (noon). An Addenda will be issued no later than Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000. The Park Ridge Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Park Ridge Board of Education. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Park Ridge Board of Education. Doc note: Commencing on Thursday, May 21, 2026, bid documents for this project will be available for review between the hours of 9:00 a.m. & 4:00 p.m. on business days at the offices of LAN Associates, Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Surveying, Inc. (LAN), 445 Godwin Avenue, Midland Park, NJ 07432. Bid documents shall be available via link by emailing biddocs@lanassociates.com referencing the name of the project and LAN job number in the footer at the bottom of this page. A Fifty ($50) Dollar non-refundable deposit for each bid package via cash, check (made payable to LAN Associates, Engineering, Planning, Architecture, online is required for each link. Documents will not be sent via overnight mail or US mail. Event pre-bid note: hearing other Bidders' questions regarding various aspects of the Project and the answers thereto, and learning the manner of proper completion and submission of the Bid Documents to ensure a responsive Bid. A Bidder's failure to attend the Pre-Bid Conference is at its own risk. Event bid note: All bids will be opened and read to the public at that time by the School Business Administrator at the board offices.
