Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ithaca, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project consists of providing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to mill and pave approximately 16,364 linear feet of 30-foot-wide road pavement of multiple streets throughout the City of Ithaca, as described in section 00830 - Street List Table and Worksite Location Map of the contract documents. The work shall include milling the existing asphalt pavement surface, full depth pavement repair at localized areas as necessary, corrective undercut and backfill work at spot locations as ordered by the Engineer, removal and reconstruction of existing curb ramps, replacement of existing curb and aprons as necessary, installation of new cub, adjustment and/or replacement of manhole frames and covers, adjustment of water valve boxes, adjustment of drainage inlet frames and grates, and placement of new warm mix asphalt courses followed by new pavement markings. This project is a Unit Price contract. Each bid shall be accompanied by a deposit in the amount of: Five Percent (5%) of the Total Gross Sum Bid in the form of a Certified Check, Bank Draft, or Bid Bond Questions: Written questions should be addressed to Alfonso Reyes at the City of Ithaca at areyes@cityofithaca.org. If the Bid is accepted, the work under this contract shall be substantially complete within 180 consecutive calendar days of the date fixed in the Notice to Proceed The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Owner. There is no DBE participation goal required for this contract.
