Construction of El Camino Real Bridge and roadway widening consists of the realignment of El Camino Real between San Dieguito Road and Via De La Valle and the widening of Via De La Valle between existing El Camino Real and North El Camino Real. Improvements include the construction of a 3-span haunched box girder bridge over San Dieguito River, installation of bank stabilization (rock slope protection and turf reinforcement matting), curb and gutter, raised medians, sidewalk, curb ramps, fence, storm drain, a triple box culvert, water, sewer, D.G. equestrian trails, Green infrastructure improvements, traffic signals, traffic signal modifications, signing and striping, driveway improvements, removal of the existing bridge and portions of the existing roadway, planting of trees, and revegetation of disturbed areas.
