Renovation of a municipal facility in Renfrew, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,100-square-foot municipal facility.
The scope of work includes the removal and off-site disposal of the existing metal panel roof system, installation of a standing seam metal panel roof system (approximately 6,100 SF), and replacement of ceiling insulation. There are add alternates for gutter and downspout replacement, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township and accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Connoquenessing Township to guarantee the bidder’s entrance into the contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the State of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Bidders are required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and The Public Works Employment Verification Act.
