The Paramount Unified School District is soliciting bids for Districtwide Tree and Shrub Trimming Services under a three (3)-year maintenance contract. The successful bidder shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, traffic control, disposal, and incidentals necessary to perform professional tree and shrub maintenance services at District sites in accordance with industry standards and District specifications. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: -Tree trimming and pruning services for approximately 1,167 District trees, performed under a structured three-year pruning cycle beginning in Year 1 -Trimming of trees on varying maintenance frequencies, including: -Annual pruning -Semi-annual (twice-per-year) pruning -Biennial (every two years) pruning -Triennial (every three years) pruning -Tree maintenance services across all size classifications, ranging from small ornamental trees to very large canopy trees -Palm tree pruning, which shall be performed annually in accordance with District specifications -Removal of dead, diseased, damaged, or hazardous branches as part of routine maintenance -Compliance with all wildlife protection, tool sanitation, safety, and site protection requirements -Shrub maintenance services, consisting of annual thinning, pruning, shaping, and debris removal for District-designated shrub areas -Complete cleanup and lawful disposal of all green waste generated by the work -Coordination with District staff to schedule work in a manner that minimizes disruption to school operations All work shall be performed in compliance with applicable laws, prevailing wage requirements, District standards, and the detailed Specifications included in the bid documents.
