Description

Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Tofino, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a library; and municipal facility.

Tofino library and office space project, including a new public library, outdoor community space, and District office facility to be located at the Tofino Community Hall site (351 Arnet Rd.). TIMELINE: Request for proposal to provide construction management services is underway. The district intends to engage the successful proponent as Construction Manager to provide pre-construction services to support project planning, cost certainty, constructability, procurement strategy, and schedule development through permit-ready documentation. This RFP covers pre-construction services only. Further update in fall 2026, upon approvals. *The RFP identifies a maximum total project cost of $5,000,000 inclusive of all project costs.
