The project consists of pavement maintenance and remarking of Runway 17-35 at Helena Regional Airport. The major work includes approximately 4,500 linear feet of crack seal, 21,000 square yards of P-608 seal coat, and 19,000 square feet of pavement marking. All tools, equipment, materials, and labor necessary to complete the project are to be included. Bids must be sealed, delivered to the Office of the Airport Manager, and marked accordingly, with the bidder’s name, address, and state Contractor’s Registration Number in the lower left-hand corner of the envelope. Each bid must be accompanied by lawful money of the United States or a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, Bid Bond, Bank Money Order, or Bank Draft from a qualified banking association, amounting to not less than ten percent of the total bid as liquidated damages if the successful bidder fails or refuses to execute the contract. Performance and Payment Bonds each for 100% of the contract amount are required after award. Contractors and subcontractors must obtain registration with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry prior to bidding. All laborers and mechanics must be paid wages at rates required by law. The contractor must ensure non-discrimination in employment. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful bidder, and certificates of insurance must be submitted. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the best interest of the Helena Regional Airport Authority.
