Renovation of a transportation facility in Grosse Ile, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 43,088-square-foot transportation facility.
The Owner Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Bid Alternates, in Any Combination, and to Award the Contract Based on the BASE Bid Alone or the BASE Bid Together With Any Combination of Alternates Deemed to Be in the Owner's Best Interest. The Airport Manager Will Be Present to Discuss the Project and Receive Questions From Prospective Bidders. Attendance is Optional but Strongly Encouraged, as It Provides an Opportunity for Bidders to View Site Conditions and Ask Questions Prior to Submitting a Bid. Bid Alternates: In Addition to the BASE Bid, the Bid Documents May Include One or More Optional Bid Alternates. Contractors May Also Propose Their Own Alternate Means and Methods for the Township's Consideration; Any Such Proposals Must Be Clearly Labeled as Alternates and Include an Explanation of the Suggested Change Along With Representative Pricing Adjustments Should the Alternate Be Accepted. The Township of Grosse Ile Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Any Irregularity in Any Bid, and to Make the Award in Any Manner Deemed to Be in Its Best Interest. All Bids Shall Remain Firm and May Not Be Withdrawn for a Period of Ninety (90) Days Following the Date of Receipt of Bids.
