Renovation of a transportation facility in Torrance, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade transportation facility.

The City of Torrance is requesting bids for Torrance Transit Facility First and Second Floor Renovation as per the plans and specifications provided by the City of Torrance and BOA Architecture. The project consists of renovation of the first and second floor of the Torrance Transit Facility. In case of disputes, City requirements take precedence. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following and for the building to provide ADA compliance throughout: 1. Interior Scope of Work - FIRST FLOOR: a. The renovation of a storage area into a new breakroom and dispatch area with new updated led lighting, two gender neutral restrooms (one which meets ADA standards), a new Kitchenette, a new dispatch window area, relocated dispatch mailboxes, refinished concrete floors, and window storefronts. b. The renovation of the corridor includes updated led lighting, new lockers and benches, and a full height storage space. c. The planning room must have a new storefront window d. New exhaust fans for all restrooms e. New finishes for the interior and exterior of the elevator entry f. The renovation of the warehouse includes repolished g. Concrete floors and updated led lighting. h. The renovation of the foyer includes a new service counter, cabinetry, refinished interiors, polished concrete, and updated led lighting. 2. Interior Scope of Work - SECOND FLOOR: a. The renovation of common spaces with a new landing facade wall with a tv display, an updated drinking fountain, repolished concrete floors, updated led lighting, wall cabinetry for added storage, and updated outlets with USB fixtures b. A new private office c. A new kitchen layout with proper fixtures d. New exhaust fans at all restrooms e. A new open office with cubicles f. New carpet, paint, and acoustics at existing offices 3. Exterior Scope of Work a. Provide new exterior aluminum storefront system with tempered glass, new aluminum storefront door & door hardware.b. Infill exterior wall as needed and match existing exterior siding and trim work. Patch and repair siding as needed due to new storefront window openings. c.
