The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the Detroit Dam project requires the purchase and delivery of one hundred and twenty (120) concrete ecology blocks to provide foundational support and erosion control for a project access road. The blocks must be approximately 30" x 30" x 60", weigh approximately 4,320 lbs each, be stackable (with an interlocking feature desirable), and include an embedded lifting point, such as an eye hook or U-bolt, for installation. Delivery must be made to a turnout off the Detroit Dam access road at 40990 Highway 22, Mill City, OR, 97360. Deliveries are accepted Monday through Thursday, between 0700 and 1600 hours, excluding federal holidays. The contractor must include all freight and delivery costs in the proposed price. USACE personnel are available to offload the material upon arrival if needed. This procurement is to mitigate significant hazards, including potential landslides, that could affect infrastructure integrity and vehicle access to the facility.
