Reference Number 0000424973 The City of Louisville is soliciting proposals from qualified commercial flooring contractors for the removal and replacement of existing flooring systems within the family locker room areas of the Recreation and Senior Center. The project consists of demolition and disposal of the existing mosaic tile flooring system, preparation and correction of the substrate to provide positive drainage to floor drains, installation of waterproofing systems, and installation of a new commercial wet-area flooring system utilizing Black 2" hexagon mosaic tile, or approved equal, specifically designed for aquatic and locker room wet environments. The intent of this project is to provide a durable, sanitary, slip-resistant, waterproof, and low-maintenance flooring system appropriate for high-moisture and high-traffic commercial locker room applications.
