The work contemplated is designated as the City of Wendell 2026 Chip Seal Coat Project . The work generally consists of the following: Prepare roads for chip sealing and chip seal roads with CRS-2P emulsion made by Idaho Asphalt Supply, Inc. at an application rate of .47 to .52 gallons per square yard depending on each street condition, typical traffic patterns, as well as the quality and size of the aggregate. The aggregate will be 1/2 inch in size, purchased from Glendale Construction, Inc. (approximately 4 miles of roadway-- 49800 square yards). Each Bidder must deposit with their bid, security an amount of 5% percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety duly licensed or authorized to issue bonds in the required amount in the State of Idaho and acceptable by the Owner. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. All Bidders shall accompany proposals with evidence of holding a valid Idaho Public Works Contractor's License covering work to be performed, and shall list Sub-Contractors as required by Idaho Code. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids.
