Renovation of a municipal facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting bids for the construction of the referenced project: Project Description: Modernize the following elevators in the Utah State Capitol Building: o #3 VIP Southwest o #4 Governor's Elevator o #5 Northwest Public o #6 Southeast Public Question Deadline 06/18/2026 at 3:00 PM MT Online Portal Make inquiries to Rob Higginson, 801-866-3299, robhigginson@hcselevatoted.com or Josh Higginson, 801-458-8504, joshhigginson@hcselevated.com The Modernization of the elevators listed as "#5 Northwest Public" & "#6 Provide a modernization proposal for four (4) elevators located at the State of Utah Capitol Complex. The Governor's and the VIP elevators were installed in 2007 by TK Elevator and are both MRL gearless traction elevators. The public elevators have two (2) geared traction passenger elevators and #5 Northwest #6 Southeast. All engineering, equipment, labor, and permits required to complete elevator modernization required by these Contract Documents. The vintage style of the elevator hall call, car operating panel and direction dial are required to be reused or replaced with similar styles. The State of Utah and the Capitol Preservation Board is requiring that this traction elevator modernization project to be a turnkey operation.
