Any changes to the RFQ shall be issued by written notice or addendum The project consists of flooring installation and replacement throughout portions of the Booker T. Dozier Recreation Center . The work includes all labor , materials , equipment , supervision , tools , transportation , protection , cleanup , disposal , and incidentals necessary to complete the project in accordance with the RFQ , applicable codes , manufacturer requirements , and accepted commercial flooring standards . The project scope includes , but is not limited to : o Removal and disposal of existing flooring materials , where applicable . o Furniture moving and replacement as needed to complete the work . o Installation of commercial /building -appropriate Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT ) flooring . o Installation of ceramic tile in applicable areas. o Installation of stair flooring systems , including anti -slip treads and risers . o Installation of transition strips and related flooring accessories . o Installation of epoxy nose fillers where required . o Floor preparation , patching , leveling , cleaning , and substrate preparation as needed . o Protection of occupied areas, public areas, walls , doors , millwork , and adjacent finishes during construction . o Daily cleanup , debris removal , and safe maintenance of work areas . o Dumpster /disposal responsibility by the contractor . o Coordination with the City regarding phasing , access, and use of occupied areas. NCLUDED AREAS The following areas are included in the anticipated scope. Contractors shall verify all areas and measurements during the walkthrough : o Hallways o Offices o Meeting rooms o Game rooms o Stairways o Weight room o Common areas o Other related flooring areas identified by the City during the walkthrough or by notice / addendum OCCUPIED FACILITY / PHASING The Recreation Center may remain occupied during portions of the work . Contractors shall describe whether phased occupancy can be maintained and how work areas will be protected from staff , residents , program participants , and the public .
