A certified check or bank draft payable to Brown Township, or a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, must be submitted. The fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit must be included with the bid. The CONTRACTOR must establish a 6.9% goal for female participation and a 1% goal for minority participation in the aggregate on-site construction workforce for contracts exceeding $10,000. Bidders/offerors must submit evidence of solicitations and commitments to minority and women business enterprises and Section 3 business concerns. The CONTRACTOR must strive to meet the MBE goal of 5% and the WBE goal of 3% for contracts over $25,000, and for projects with HUD or CDBG funding exceeding $200,000, must attempt to meet Section 3 worker participation goals per the specified CFR requirements. Davis-Bacon and Related Acts apply.
