Site work for a civil project in York, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel and water / sewer project.
The work consists of providing labor, equipment, and material for the Proposed York Sewer System Infrastructure Improvements Project / Contract 4 - York Sanitary Sewer Pre-Video Inspection Project (CWSRF Project No. CSO11006-02). The principal items of work include cleaning and video inspection of approximately 19,000 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer line, cleaning and video inspection of approximately 900 linear feet of 24-inch RCP storm culvert, and video condition assessment of 24 existing manholes. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsible, and responsive bidder. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening bids has passed. The contractor is advised that time is of the essence, with a contract time of 30 consecutive calendar days and noted restrictions, with liquidated damages assessed if contract time is exceeded. All applicable federal guidelines must be met as the project is funded through Clean Water State Revolving Funds. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept any bid considered advantageous to the owner. Plans, specifications, and contract documents are available for inspection or purchase as described. There will not be a pre-bid meeting.
