Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Williamson, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility; and educational facility.

Flooring Replacement Matewan PK8 School Hallway upstairs/downstairs and Tug Valley STEM lab Mingo County Schools requests competitive, all-inclusive quotes from qualified, licensed commercial flooring contractors for supplying and installing high-performance Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) flooring. The target areas are Matewan PK 8 upstairs and downstairs hallways, with tile being placed over existing tile, and the STEM lab at Tug Valley High School. The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for: removal and lawful disposal of existing flooring (carpet at Tug Valley STEM lab room) down to the concrete slab, checking for any asbestos abatement in the carpet glue, cleaning for preparation of tile over existing tile at Matewan PK8, mechanical scraping of old adhesives, crack isolation, diamond-grinding high spots, application of cementitious leveling compound to ensure a flat, smooth subfloor surface (= 3/16" variation over 10 feet), moisture testing (ASTM F2170 RH) prior to adhesive application, direct glue-down installation of institutional-grade LVT and matching transition strips as per the approved layout, and post-installation final rolling with a 100 lb. roller, initial cleanup with neutral pH cleaners, and floor protection during the curing window. The contracted scope of work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to complete the following: o Site Prep & Demolition: Removal and lawful disposal of existing flooring material (carpet at Tug Valley STEM lab room) down to the concrete slab. Check for any asbestos abatement in the glue for the carpet. o Clean for preparation of tile to go on top of the existing tile at Matewan PK8 upstairs and downstairs hallway o Subfloor Preparation: Mechanical scraping of old adhesives, crack isolation, diamond-grinding of high spots, and application of cementitious leveling compound to ensure a flat, smooth subfloor surface (\(\le 3/16\)" variation over 10 feet). o Moisture Testing: Perform and document ASTM F2170 Relative Humidity (RH) testing prior to adhesive application. o Installation: Direct glue-down installation of institutional-grade LVT and matching transition strips per the approved layout.
