Jefferson County will replace 22 existing culverts along the North Turkey Creek Road corridor. Following a recent inspection, the county determined that the corrugated metal pipes are in poor condition and require replacement. The scope includes replacing all existing corrugated metal pipes with smooth-walled polypropylene pipe and installing riprap zones at selected downstream locations to provide scour protection. The project is currently in the design phase, with construction anticipated to occur during summer 2026 and an estimated construction duration of approximately three months.
