Renovation of a water / sewer project in Harding Township, New Jersey. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
***There is possibility Bid Date may get EXTENDED to July 9, 2026***> Construction of Water Supply Well (WSW No. 5) and Pump House No. 5 Lakeshore Company. The Scope of Work under this contract includes, but is not limited to the construction, drilling, development, and testing of a new potable Water Supply Well (WSW No. 5), and associated new Pump House No. 5, including building foundation, superstructure, architectural, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and SCADA components. Installation of process piping, valves, meters, chemical feed systems (if applicable), exterior site work (SESC, grading, site restoration, etc.), and connection to the existing Lakeshore Company water system are also included. The Contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the project. Bids shall be delivered to Lakeshore Company, 3 Trails End, Harding Township, NJ 07960. Bids must be on the bid form prepared by EWMA, in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside and also bearing on the outside reference to the particular work bid upon. Late bids will not be accepted. The project or contract is funded in part by New Jersey wastewater treatment financing programs and the successful bidder must comply with all the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-9.1 et seq. for the participation of small business enterprises owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. This contract or subcontract is expected to be funded in part with funds from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust (NJEIT). Neither the State of New Jersey, the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust nor any of their departments, agencies or employees is, or will be, a party to this contract or subcontract or any lower tier contract or subcontract. This contract or subcontract is subject to the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-3, 4, 5, 9 and 10. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable federal and state requirements associated with NJEIT funding. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:22-9, all bidders must document Good Faith Efforts to provide opportunities to SBE/DBE/MBE/WBE firms during procurement and construction. In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 58:11B-26, N.J.A.C. 7:22-3.17(a)24 and 4.17(a)24, the contractor (subcontractor) shall comply with all of the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-9. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier’s Check in an amount equal to 10% of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000, payable to Lakeshore Company. Each bid shall also be accompanied by a certificate letter from a surety company stating that it will provide the bidder with the completion bond. All applicable surety bonds required in connection with the advertisement and award of building contracts or sub-agreements must be written by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List (Department Circular 570—Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds), in accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:22-3.17(g), and be authorized to transact surety business in the State of New Jersey. Evidence of compliance must accompany the Bid Bond. Failure to provide a qualified surety will result in rejection of the bid. Site bid walks should be arranged by contacting EWMA.
