Renovation of a municipal facility in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Work includes the like-for-like replacement repair of the existing bulkhead and related interior finishes at the Level 1 work area, including bulkhead repair, platform repair, drywall installation repair, sealant work, and painting to match adjacent existing surfaces. Any mechanical, electrical, or other components affected by the restoration must be modified or replaced in accordance with current applicable codes and good practice. The Contractor is responsible for protecting existing finishes, maintaining safe access and public tenant use during construction, coordinating any required service interruptions, completing firestopping sealant gypsum painting work as applicable, and cleaning all areas affected by the work to the satisfaction of the Client and Owner. The contractor shall identify areas of potential waterproofing replacement issues and make a reasonable adjustment to assure there will be no structural members temporarily removed during waterproofing replacement.
