Site work and paving for a road / highway in Washington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are requested for the supply of the following materials: 5750 tons of 9.5 mm wearing, 1000 tons of 19 mm wearing, 1500 tons of #PA-2A road aggregates (limestone), 750 tons of AASHTO #57 road aggregates, 500 tons of R4 stone, 500 tons of #4 stone, 1,000 tons of AS1 (anti-skid), 300 tons of R5 (PennDOT specs), 1,000 tons of Type C anti-skid, 300 tons of R6 (PennDOT specs), 500 tons of AASHTO #8 road aggregates, 10,000 gallons of diesel fuel (not delivered), and 1,500 gallons of gasoline (not delivered). All materials must conform to PENNDOT specifications as per PennDOT publication 408 and must come from a source listed on Bulletin 14. Proposals must be fully completed and signed on forms provided by the municipality. The bid must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid amount. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Liquidated damages apply.
