The work consists of installing Class II bicycle lanes along Racquet Club Road and North Farrell Drive between North Palm Canyon Drive and Via Escuela, including associated signing, striping, and pavement improvements. The project will reconfigure the existing roadway from four travel lanes to a three-lane section with one travel lane in each direction, a two-way left-turn lane (TWLTL), and strategically located curbside parking. The work shall be diligently prosecuted to completion before the expiration of 40 working days. Bidders must register with the City of Palm Springs' portal via PlanetBids to access contract documents and receive addenda. All questions about the bid documents must be submitted in writing on PlanetBids by the specified deadline. Bidders must possess a valid Class “A” Contractor’s License for the State of California at the time of submitting bids. Each bid must include proof of a certified or cashier’s check or a bid bond equal to 10% of the total bid price. Bidders must guarantee their bid price for 120 calendar days. Compliance with California wage rate requirements and electronic certified payroll reporting is mandatory. Bidders must also comply with the City’s Public Integrity Ordinance and provide required disclosure forms.
