Renovation of an industrial development in Palm Springs, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,487-square-foot industrial development.

Question Deadline 07/24/2026 at 4:00 PM PT All questions and/or requests for clarifications must be submitted in writing via email to the Architect. The project consists of improvements to an existing 7,500 square foot commercial building located at 1247 Gene Autry Trail, Palm Springs, CA. The scope includes selective demolition, interior framing, finishes, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) upgrades, HVAC upgrades, new roof, exterior paint, and limited site improvements. Bidders must submit sealed bids on the provided forms and ensure their bid is time-stamped by the District by the specified deadline. All bids must conform and be responsive to all pertinent bid and contract documents. Each bid must include a bid bond, cash, or cashier's/certified check in the amount of ten percent of the total bid price as security. The successful bidder will be required to furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. The contractor and its subcontractors must pay not less than prevailing wage rates and comply with all applicable labor codes. Bidding documents are available free of charge through the District's e-Procurement site. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. No bidder may withdraw its bid or bid security for ninety days after the date of the bid opening. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders are required to have been prequalified by the District prior to submitting a bid. Subcontractors performing electrical, mechanical, or plumbing work under certain license classifications (C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46) as first-tier subcontractors must also have been prequalified by the District. Bidders are required to possess one or more of the following State of California Contractor Licenses: B. The license must be active and in good standing at the time of bid opening and must remain so throughout the contract term. Bidders and their subcontractors must comply with registration and qualification requirements pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5 & 1771.1. Attendance at a mandatory job walk is also required; failure to attend will result in ineligibility to bid.
