The work consists of installing Class II bicycle lanes along South Palm Canyon Road between Acanto Drive and East Palm Canyon Drive, including associated signing, striping, and pavement improvements. The project will reconfigure the existing roadway from four travel lanes to a three-lane section with one travel lane in each direction, a two-way left-turn lane (TWLTL), and strategically located curbside parking. The work shall be diligently prosecuted to completion before the expiration of 40 working days. Bidders must register with the designated portal to be eligible to submit bids and receive addenda. Questions must be submitted in writing through the specified system by the stated deadline. A valid Class "A" Contractor’s License is required. Bids must include proof of a certified or cashier’s check or Bid Bond for 10 percent of the total bid price. The bid price must be guaranteed for 120 calendar days from the bid opening. Prevailing wage requirements apply, and certified payroll records must be electronically furnished to the Labor Commissioner. Disclosure of certain company ownership interests is required.
