Description

Site work for a mixed-use development in Lockport, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project will involve sanitary service installation, water service installation, septic tank removal or abandonment, and landscape restoration. Sanitary service installation consists of 480 LF of 6” PVC sanitary sewers installed via directional bore, new manholes, and connection to existing stub. Water service installation consists of 185 LF of 6” zinc coated water main with appurtenances, including both new and relocated fire hydrants. Septic tank removal also includes removal of existing buried manhole. Landscape restoration includes 4” topsoil, seeding, and erosion control blanket. Bidders should note the location on the north side of 143rd Street west of the I355 Tollway Interchange. No pre-bid meeting is required, but site visits can be coordinated with the Fire Protection District if needed. Sealed proposals must be submitted at the office of the fire district.
