Site work for a water / sewer project in Lockport, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Northwest Homer Fire Protection District (NWHFPD) Station #1 Sewer and Water Installation Project will involve sanitary service installation, water service installation, septic tank removal or abandonment, and landscape restoration. Sanitary service installation consists of 480 LF of 6" PVC sanitary sewers installed via directional bore, new manholes, and connection to existing stub. Water service installation consists of 185 LF of 6" zinc coated water main with appurtenances, including both new and relocated fire hydrants. Septic tank removal also includes removal of existing buried manhole. Landscape restoration includes 4" topsoil, seeding, and erosion control blanket. Award is subject to final approval.
